I enjoyed summer! Really!
I learned to love working in the LGU; waking up early and giving service to the City's constituents.
Surely, I will miss my officemates who shared their weekdays with me. I'll be missing the 'thunderously amiable' voice of Mayor and the encouraging acts of Sir Teddy.
I am very glad to get to work with Sir Rex, the City Administrator.
I know I cannot stop summer days to unfold so fast. All I can do is cherish every moment that I spend with those valuable personalities leading our City of Character.
I should condition myself in to going back to normal- studies! Sooner, I will be working with them again; hope it'll be longer.
The experience I've earned this summer is priceless.
For now, I am preparing for the upcoming classes, moving on, leaving summerdays with a big smile.

I'm a FAN of WARREN BUFFETT
I was struck when I read this excerpt from a Magazine.
Until now, I am still amazed with his story and life. How I wish I'll get to see and know him more someday. (Even a handshake will do, make me feel so blessed.)
So, I want to share this one to you.
1. Born on August 30, 1930, he bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still in the same small 3 bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world’s largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, own 63, companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year. He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis.
7. He has given his CEO’s only two rule number 1
Rule number 1: Do not lose any of your share holder’s money
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1
8. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch television.
9. Bill Gates, the world’s richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But When Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
10. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
11. His advice to young people: Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself.
I will always be inspired of Warren Buffett's story.

Bais City United Methodist Church
God will always provide. HE answers our every prayer in the right time and in the best time for us.
I am so happy to see our church, the United Methodist Church in Bais to be renovated for almost 8 years of praying and waiting for our Korean Missionaries to appropriate funds for the church.
Its walls witnessed the memories and happenings that transpired during services. Its wooden chairs heard all the struggles of the pastors who were assigned in Bais.
I will always be a living testimony of how GOD took care of our church and strengthen its 5-10 regular members.
I was only 4 years old when I joined the church workers and Koreans in a circle as they bless the opening of the church.
I am 20 now and I am still serving the church. No matter how hard would be the struggles in order to keep our church established and keep going, I will never leave its gateways.. I know this is the way GOD wants me to be. For sure, this is the "calling" that HE wants me to fulfill.
Bais City Methodists will always rekindle our faith in HIM and continue to serve HIM the best way that we can do.

So cool to be back in Bais!
work. school. work again.
Good thing there is that I am earning! =)
I have been so excited to work again this summer.
It's been a month now since I started taking my summer job. After weeks of struggling to cope with the pressure (not to mention the adjustments in the working environment: fully air conditioned office and a very cruel sun outside ), I am now well-equipped physically and 'emotionally' to work with the LGU employees. At last, I've enjoyed my summer vacation after the quite 'tedious' school works.
Dwelling in the office for eight hours and mingling with the well-known individuals in the city suddenly became not that easy. I can feel the pressure and the need to do things right and doing the right things. Though my officemates are friendly and accommodating, I can still feel the hesitation. I still don't know how to call this 'feeling'- quite awkward.
For sure, this summer job will be another opportunity for me be exposed with the scenes in real life and living in the real world after I graduate ( with God's grace).
These days will also be my avenue to show my warmest gratitude to the people who in a lot of ways, helped me in my studies. I know the effort I am exerting these past few weeks is still not enough to compensate.
The best way that I can show my deepest thanks to them is through earning the degree that I dreamed of. And the greatest thing that I can show to them is the diploma that I should behold after I leave the pylons of NORSU.
Monday is fast approaching and I still have the enthusiasm to start the week again with the flag ceremony in front of Bais City Hall. I'll face another week of serving the people of the City of Whales and Dolphins!
Aja!
